The Porsche Carrera is a car that catches your attention just by saying its name. But what’s the point of having a car that’s identical to someone else’s? That’s why the customer wanted to do something unique, choosing a blacked out interior covered in red accents.

Our Approach

Working on a car like Porsche is always a pleasure. We worked on 2 Porsche Carrera’s at the same time and it was an even bigger challenge.

A full interior was chosen in black leather only, with red stitching. Wanting to get more attention on this interior, a few essential elements were chosen to be wrapped in red alcantara to make this Porsche more dynamic and sporty, even on the inside.

Material Selection

For the Porsche 997 we selected 3 materials consisting of 3 leather options: the red & black alcantara – for the upholstery, central console and accessories – along with the classic black leather for the steering wheel.

Working on a car like Porsche is always a pleasure. We worked on 2 Porsche Carrera’s at the same time and it was an even bigger challenge.

A full interior was chosen in black leather only, with red stitching. Wanting to get more attention on this interior, a few essential elements were chosen to be wrapped in red alcantara to make this Porsche more dynamic and sporty, even on the inside.

Everywhere you look there’s just leather, but the dashboard catches your eye with the red leather-clad Chrono clock and the long stitching along it. Unlike most cars, the roof pillars have been given a red colour, as found on the 991 GT3 RS.

The doors were also covered in black alcantara, but the door handles were given the same detail, with red being chosen.

The seats are impressive thanks to both the red stitching and the separate red upholstered headrest. The beauty of this interior is accentuated by the red belts that highlight the sportiness of this model.

The steering wheel has received special attention, receiving a new ergonomic shape, thicker than the original, and with more pronounced sides for extra grip and pleasure while driving. The red ring at the top highlights that this is a car ready for both the street and the track.
